Plagiarism & AI Content Policy
The Integrated Perspectives: A Journal of Interdisciplinary Research follows a strict plagiarism policy to maintain academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using plagiarism-detection tools before and during the review process.
Max 20%
The overall plagiarism similarity index must not exceed 20% (excluding references, read quations and bibliographies).
- Any form of copying, close paraphrasing, or uncredited reuse of text, data, tables, figures, or ideas from published or unpublished sources is considered plagiarism.
- Manuscripts found to exceed the allowed plagiarism limit may be rejected outright or returned to the author(s) for revision, depending on the severity.
AI Content Policy:
The journal allows limited use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for assistance such as language improvement or formatting support.
Max 30%
AI-generated content must not exceed 30% of the manuscript.
- Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and ethical integrity of all content, including any AI-assisted portions.
- AI tools must not be used to fabricate data, results, references, or citations, or to replace the author’s original scholarly contribution.
Disclosure Requirements:
- Authors must disclose the use of AI tools, if any, at the time of submission.
- Failure to disclose AI usage or exceeding the permitted limits may lead to editorial action, including rejection.
Policy Enforcement:
If plagiarism or excessive AI-generated content is identified at any stage of the editorial process, the journal reserves the right to:
- Reject the manuscript
- Request revisions
- Withdraw the article after publication
- Notify relevant institutions, if necessary
